Hi, my name is Thomas.
I am a passionate photographer from Leipzig, Germany.
I started photography in 2010 and taught myself everything essential over the years. I crafted my photography-skills on many different occasions, for example as an event photographer at festivals, on private photo tours and while traveling.
Photography is not just a “hobby” for me; it’s a passion. Creativity, self-expression and freedom are important elements. I am able to do what I want at my own pace without the need to “deliver” something. Photography provides the perfect balance to my busy (but still great) job in online marketing.
I am mostly into nature photography. The variety of subjects in this field is vast and I am always learning something new. I particularly enjoy capturing close-ups and macro shots of plants, insects, and other mostly small creatures – a fascinating world that remains hidden to the naked eye. Furthermore, I have developed a keen interest in shooting a wide range of landscapes. A large part of my landscape photography takes place while traveling, where I am trying to take pictures of some unforgettable impressions from this beautiful planet!
